The event will be a fundraiser and consciousness raiser about military
recruiting, the economic draft that provides a stream of soldiers, and

This year is the 61st anniversary of the bombingof Hiroshima and
Nagasaki, Japan. An interfaith prayer vigil will be held from
6:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 6, 2006, at Rutledge Chapel on
the University of South Carolina Horseshoe in Columbia, SC.
People of all beliefs, races, and nationalities are invited to join
together in remembrance of all victims of nuclear weapons.

hold its "World Congress 2006" in Lexington, S.C. Led by national
director August B. Kreis III, this faction of the violent and racist
group has been based in Lexington since 2005, though it has avoided
media scrutiny and militant opposition.
Columbia Antifascists has spent several weeks gathering
intelligence on this obscure faction of neo-Nazis, but the time has
come to engage in open resistance to fascist organizing.

operating nuclear weapons production plant in the United States.
Sunday, August 6: Remembrance and Hope 61st commemoration of Hiroshima
at the plant which produced the enriched uranium for the Little Boy Bomb.
