On October 5, people through the nation will walk out of school, take off work, and come to the downtowns & townsquares and set out from there, going through the streets and calling on many more to join us - making a powerful statement: "NO! THIS REGIME DOES NOT REPRESENT US! AND WE WILL DRIVE IT OUT!"

Interested in participating in the Guantánamo: Honor Bound for Freedom Play? The director is looking for people to participate in the reading. They are looking for 14 men and 2 women, but women could read men's parts if necessary. There will be three practices:

Mon 10/16 at 7-10 pm

Mon 10/23 at 7-10 pm

Tues 10/24 at 7-10 pm

The Center for Asian Studies and the Walker Institute for International and Area Studies will host a presentation organized by the International Labor Rights Fund, titled "The High Cost of Cheap Labor: Testimonies of Working Conditions from Around the World." Workers from Colombia, China, Honduras, United States, and Swaziland will share stories of their lives and labor conditions.

Co-sponsored by Campaign for Labor Rights and STITCH.
