 Join us at a Statehouse rally calling for an end to
 the Iraq war, the return of our troops and handing
 over Iraq to Iraqis. Silent "Women in Black" vigil,
 held every Wednesday for the past 5 years, from 5-6pm.

The Green Quad is sponsoring a Green Study Abroad Fair on Wednesday, March 5th, 7:00 p.m., in the Green Quad's Learning Center for Sustainable Futures (Building D).  Come learn how to save the planet, one place at a time.

Free pizza and drinks will be served.

Blake Hart, from the Study Abroad Office, will discuss a wide variety of programs, sure to please any green traveler.  Opportunities exist for students with any major or geographical area of interest.  Programs include:

 --Environmental Policy in Leeds, England
 --Permaculture at an ecovillage in Brazil
 --Marine Science in Newcastle, Australia
 --Ecology in Bangkok, Thailand

And many more!

The April 8, Midlands Network meeting is dedicated to the memory of Modjeska Simkins.  We will watch "Making a way, Out of no way," a 50-minute ETV special about this icon of South Carolina's civil rights movement.  A discussion with some of Modjeska's comrades about what she taught us will follow.  We meet at her house at 2025 Marion St., Columbia, at 7pm.  Refreshments will be served!
