Michael Berg, long-time supporter, trip coordinator, and recent Director of Carolina Peace Resource Center, is leaving Columbia, South Carolina, for a tour with Peace Corps in Paraguay, South America.  Please plan to join us as we celebrate all that Michael has done in South Carolina and beyond, and the joy he has brought to so many throughout his life! The party will be held Saturday, May 21st, at 6:00pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Columbia at 2701 Heyward Street in Shandon. (At the corner of Heyward & Woodrow.) Help Stop MOX Plutonium Fuel PDF Print E-mail

The Department of Energy's plan to produce MOX fuel at the Savannah River Site near Aiken will add to the problems of storing and disposing of nuclear waste, encourage nuclear proliferation, and make transports of plutonium on South Carolina roads a common occurrence. Please help stop the DOE's plan.
