Carolina Peace Photos Published PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator
Thursday, 25 October 2007
Since several people asked about this book at the New Year's Party, we are posting the info again:

Several photos in the CPRC gallery taken by Melanie Knight, as well as a photo taken by Anna Shockley, appear in Cost of Freedom: The Anthology of Peace & Activism, compiled by Annis, Trettien, & Palecek, (C) 2007.  The book contains accounts and photos of anti-war activism around the country in the past few years.  The photos by Knight were taken at the 2005 Cindy Sheehan/Bring Them Home Now rally in Columbia, organized by CPRC; as well as on the CPRC-sponsored trip to a peace march in DC in September 2005.  The Shockley photo is of the Peace Walk from the SRS to Oak Ridge in 2005, which CPRC also co-sponsored.
