Carolina Peace Garden Lovers will meet Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6pm-7:30ish pm at the Edisto Court Community Garden at 1905 Wiley Street, the first right turn after crossing Superior Street, on S. Edisto Ave., heading South. The garden is diagonally across from Tabernacle Church on Bay Street.

All are invited to help pull plants that are no longer producing, cardboard over paths, amend the beds with thin layers of compost and manure, apply wheat straw mulch, and plant a clover cover crop in the areas that will rest over the winter. Also, this will be the last chance of the season for interested gardeners to commit to a community garden plot for fall.
