Tuesdays: Become an Environmental Lobbyist for a Day with the Conservation Voters of South Carolina PDF Print E-mail
Written by Thomas Chandler
Tuesday, 22 January 2008
Every Tuesday, 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Nickelodeon Theatre on Main St.

If you see yourself as more than a spectator in politics, this great introduction to lobbying can open the door to political action. Legislative goals for the 2008 session include investment in renewable energy and efficient technology, green building standards, fair annexation laws, funding land conservation, and protecting water quality.

Come on any Tuesday that fits your schedule, and we will guide you through the day's events so you can complement the work of the conservation lobbyists - observing the session, speaking to representatives and senators, attending hearings, and helping reinforce the community's message.

For more information on the Conservation Lobby Day, contact Debbie Parker (803-799-0716) or visit http://www.conservationvotersofsc.org .
