PIXIES FOR PEACE!

Join Carolina Peace for Columbia's annual St. Patrick's Day parade!

Friday, March 14th, 4pm

Saturday, March 15th
8:30am: Meet to decorate truck
9:30am: Line-up for march (Dreher HS @ Adger, Millwood, & Devine)
10:00am: Parade begins (proceeds down Devine & Saluda to Harden St.)
Note: some streets will be blocked, so be sure to get there early.
Be festive!  Dress as a pixie or at least Irish-y! We are #20 in the line-up, which means:

Parade Units 1 through 30 should enter the Assembly Area from Millwood Avenue. Parking for these is available in the Dreher High School Parking Area located just off of Millwood Avenue adjacent to the school.

IMPORTANT note from parade organizers:
The streets around Dreher are closed at 8am for parade lineup.  Vehicles will need parking pass to get into the area.  Once the parade has cleared the area, Dreher becomes a remote parking area for general public with shuttle to Five Points.  Hand
Middle School is also a remote parking area - no streets blocked - with shuttle to Five Points.  If you need a parking pass, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it before 4pm Friday.

Participant Drop-off Point

Participants that are being dropped off to ride floats etc., should enter the Assembly Area from Devine and Kilbourne and drop off their passengers in front of St. Joseph’s catholic Church. The drop-ff point is marked with an orange circle on the Assembly Area diagram.  These vehicles will then be allowed to turn around and exit the Assembly Area at Devine and Kilbourne.

Since most stores are often at least once seasonal holiday ahead, we recommend looking for your costumes now, as they're already putting out Easter stuff!

A limited amount of headgear (hats and antenna) will be available at the parade from CPRC.  But BYOW (bring your own wings).  One of our local supporters, Hip-Wa-Zee sells cool fairy wings for a reasonable price.
