Sat., May 17, TWO Vigils of Peaceful Advocacy to End the War, Take CARE of Them NOW & Bring Them HOME.

1)  Forest Acres Site: We will vigil on the right sidewalk this side of the state maintenance sign, in sight of the main gate of Ft. Jackson. Directions: Take Forest Drive, drive up the main entrance toward Walmart, turn Left at McDonalds, and turn Right into the parking area across the street from and facing the Dollar Store shopping strip. When parked, Walmart and its adjoining stores will be behind your car and you will be facing the small shopping strip.  TIME: We will meet at 10:30-10:45, be On Site by 11AM. Please arrive on time as we will be there until NOON. Please meet in the parking lot and we will walk together up Forest Dr, across the overpass, onto Columbia's City Sidewalk just across the overpass and just past the stoplight. Bring water. 2)  Next Site: Lexington resident activists have invited and made the arrangements for us. TIME: from 1PM to 3PM. Directions: Hwy 378 from I-20 or from Columbia to Lexington, takes about half an hour. Hwy 378, pass shopping centers, gas station, Wendy's, and Stay on 378. Watch for Intersection which has the stores: Rushes, Rite Aid, and Walgreens. Walgreens is on the left. Go just pass Walgreens and Taco Bell and there will be a large parking lot of city government. Walk half a block back to Walgreens Corner. Same format and theme for signs. Phone 361-7793 or 546-3077.
