Success: New Nuclear Weapon Defeated PDF Print E-mail

No New Nuclear Weapons Today the Senate administered the last rites for the Reliable Replacement Warhead. The Senate Appropriations Committee passed a spending bill rejecting all funding for the new weapon. The Senate's decision marks the second year in a row that Congress has denied funding for the controversial program, which would have been the first new U.S. nuclear weapon in more than two decades.
