 The occupation of Iraq is getting uglier everyday. Last month more American soldiers died than in any other month of the war. Thousands of Iraqis were killed and wounded. Over 10,000 Iraqis are imprisoned by our military, many under horrible conditions. The vast majority of Iraqis say they want the occupation to end immediately. More and more Americans are also coming to this conclusion. There were no weapons of mass destruction and the Iraqis don't want us. It's time to bring the troops home. It's time to end the occupation now. This is also the time re-invigerate our peace movement, to make into a reality what the entire world knows is right. Our voice is crucial to ending this occupation. We are planning the next action against the occupation and for peace at 5:30pm on Tuesday, May 4th at the offices of the Carolina Peace Resource Center. This is located at the upstairs of the Turnipseed and Associates building on 1337 Assembly St. (Assembly and Washington) in downtown Columbia. Join us to plan for the next peace action and chart our strategy for the future. Together we will end this occupation.
