On Wednesday, October 13th at 12 noon at the Strom Thurmond Federal Building (1865 Assembly St.) there will be a Rally for Peace and in opposition to Israels latest aggression against the Palestinian people of Gaza. Israel must stop punishing communities collectively for the crimes of individuals. Until such actions end, America should stop giving tremendous sums of military aid to Israel. We have called this action due to the dire emergency circumstances presently facing the people of Gaza.

{IMAGE1}As of Monday 75 Palestinians have been killed, including 19 children under the age of 17. 55 Houses in the Jabaliya refugee camp have been completely demolished, and some 50 others have been severely damaged. 50,000 people in seven Palestinian neighborhoods are living without power and water, and food stocks are running out. There is a real threat of starvation and death by dehydration in these neighborhoods. Israelis justify this kind of action because the killing of two Israelis by a rocket attack for Gaza. This kind of collective punishment of an entire population in retaliation for the crimes of a few people is not only immoral, it is against international law. We are calling for a just US response, including joining the world community in condemning Israels behavior and sanctioning Israel until its behavior changes.
