In the state of South Carolina, there are only 14 women serving
in the State House... it's the lowest representation of women in
government in the country. But don't get mad - get even. Literally. The
League of Women Voters will be holding a Women's Campaign School on
January 15, 2005 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm as a way to give
lowcountry women, and the men who support them, the tools they need to
run for office - and win. The School is being organized by former
Pennsylvania House Representative Ellen Harley. For more information or
