Write a Letter to the Editor to the State Newspaper to Tell What You Think About Military Recruitment

There has been a lot of attention lately in the local press on the subject of military recruitment, due to the recruitment goals not being met and coverage of our on-going counter-recruitment campaign. The State paper has recently published Letters to the Editor both supporting and opposing CPRC Director Michael Berg's recent editorial (http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0223-36.htm ).

Let's keep this issue alive and public, so that we can have a real discussion about the role of military recruiters in our schools and in our community. Have you or your children had experiences with military recruiters? How were these experiences? What do you think about military recruitment?

Write a Letter to the Editor of The State newspaper to tell them what you think. If you would like to look at our excellent webpage on Counter Recruitment, maintained by committee chair Jason McBrayer, check out: http://www.carolinapeace.org/index.php/c/89?PHPSESSID=53ba7f249b070c31a138f41d700b0e93

Below is The State Letters to the Editor policy. They usually look for 150 to 200 words or less.
