Dr. Helen Caldicott will lead a tour of the Savannah River Site Oct. 17

Meet in the visitors' parking lot at SRS  at 11:00am
Press conference in Free Speech Zone at 11:30am
Windshield tour with Dr Caldicott and SRS personnel at noon (box lunches provided by WAND)
Tour ends @ 2:30 or 3 p.m.

Hear Dr.Caldicott explain the history of the huge nuclear complex sitting next to the Savannah River within the context of the nuclear age and understand the new roles being promoted for the facility.

This tour is sponsored by Atlanta WAND (Women’s Action for New Directions),  GANE (Georgians Against Nuclear Energy), Aiken Peace and those who have worked to bring Helen Caldicott to Atlanta this month.
