It is now clear that the CIA is kidnapping people from other countries and torturing them in secret torture cells.  This practice known as “extraordinary rendition” violates the Constitution and United States law. 

In an attempt to stop these and other abuses by the government, Senator John McCain has introduced legislation, now attached to the Defense Department authorization and appropriation bills, to bolster the prohibition of cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment.

Write to your Members of Congress and tell them to support the McCain anti-torture amendment.
