(Charleston, September 5, 2006) – South Carolinians for Drug Law
Reform will be hosting "Film Forum: The War on Drugs" on September
18th at the Charleston County Public Library Auditorium. The
evening will feature a viewing of "End Prohibition Now," an
educational video which analyzes the failures of the War on Drugs
from a unique perspective. “End Prohibition Now” was developed by
Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP), a national organization
of criminal justice professionals.

According to Todd Chas, Vice President of SCDLR and organizer of the event, “The film forum is a chance for folks to hear about the negative impacts of the War on Drugs from a new point of view.
