Eyes Wide Open, the American Friends Service Committee's widely acclaimed exhibition on the human cost of the Iraq war, commemorates all the lives lost. The exhibit will include a pair of boots honoring each North Carolinian military casualty; a display of shoes to memorialize Iraqis killed in the conflict; and a special memorial to all children killed and orphaned by this war in both countries. Also included is a display exploring the history, economic cost and consequences of the war.
If you would like to make a donation for this event,
please make check payable to AFSC (ORITA in memo) and mail to: 4949-B Albemarle Road Charlotte, NC 28205.
