Aug. 28 the City held the first focus group meeting on its long-range development plan. Planners and non-profit (and public service) representatives in attendance were receptive to CPRC Common Ground's request that the City encourage people to create and use urban green space for vegetable gardens--and to think about development in terms of livability for all Columbia residents, regardless of their income levels.
