Nuclear Issues Workgroup

GNEP. One of the primary issues being addressed by the Nuclear Issues workgroup is GNEP (Global Nuclear Energy Partnership). This plan by the administration would bring tens of thousands of truckloads of nuclear waste from around the nation to one location, likely South Carolina's Savannah River Site, to be reprocessed. The plan would create new fuel rods from the reprocessed plutonium and leave the waste, including millions of gallons of liquid waste with the site that is selected for this reprocessing. If you are interested in helping with a public information campaign contact Allison Peeler at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Nuclear Weapons. The government has presented repeated proposals to start industrial-scale production of new nuclear weapons. This has been promoted under the plan called "Complex 2030" and "Reliable Replacement Warheads". If you would like to help in a public education effort regarding this effort, contact Allison Peeler at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Nuclear Renaissance. The nuclear industry with the help of the administration has been using the same methods of deception to promote nuclear power that was used to promote the War in Iraq, and it has been working. If you are interested in helping debunk the deceptions contact Allison Peeler at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Death Penalty Workgroup

The United States is one of the few nations that still executes prisoners. If you are opposed to the death penalty and would like to help organize a public education campaign against the death penalty, please contact Anna Shockley at 843-312-9741.
