Begun in the late 1960’s by American mystic Samuel L. Lewis, Dances of Universal Peace [DUP] are joyful and meditative. They use sacred chants, music, and simple movements from different spiritual traditions around the world. We teach every dance and welcome all to join hands in our circle. Participation can give you spiritual benefit, including the experience of peace both within and without!

Grace Marie is a well loved DUP leader from Colorado. In addition to leading the Dances weekly in Boulder, she leads other regular dance circles around the state. She earned worldwide acclaim as a leader of retreats and camps involving spiritual and physical healing through movement, for people of all ages. Her unique understanding of the power of movement in healing and spiritual awareness comes from years of studying and teaching music, dance, and science.
