A rally and prayer vigil for the Jena 6 will be held on the steps of the State House Wednesday September 19th, at 7 p.m. Organized by Phire and Ice Publishing, the rally is for those who wish to support the six young men and their families, but are unable to travel to Louisiana. There will be an hour of prayer, singing, poetry and inspirational messages geared toward sending positive energy to Jena. Promoters ask that all participants of the rally wear black to the event.
