The South Carolina Fast-a-Thon aims to raise money and awareness for impoverished individuals around the world. Poverty is an unfortunate reality for millions and war seems only to exacerbate suffering by destroying health care systems and food distribution resources. With the help of No More Victims, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization, the USC Muslim Student Association invites you to "go hungry so someone else won't have to." By pledging to fast with us on October 4th from sunrise to sunset, we hope to raise money and awareness for innocent Iraqi war victims who desperately need food and medical attention. 100% of the raised proceeds will go towards providing relief to victims of collateral damage
