Dear Friends of Carolina Peace:

I have missed so many opportunities lately to see you (due to surgeries &
work) that I've decided to throw myself a birthday party! On Thursday,
January 8, I'll turn 44 and all of you are invited to celebrate with me at
Tios.

I have one request -- rather than buying a card for me, which could easily
cost $5, please make a donation to Carolina Peace Resource Center on my
behalf. You'll be doing three nice things:

1. You'll make me smile.
2. You'll reduce global warming.
3. You'll support the work of peace & justice.

And no presents! (Just your PRESENCE!)
