Come watch the ReBELLEous cheerleaders and listen to the jazz band Rain, members of the Plowboys and others performing live at Riverfront Park, 312 Laurel Street in Columbia (between Laurel, Assembly, and Taylor) on Saturday, July 2 from 3 p.m. to 8p.m.
![]() The jazz band Rain, members of the Plowboys, and more music will entertain at the stage near the walking path along the canal. The ReBELLEous cheerleaders will entertain between bands, promising peace-inspired cheers for a truly independent celebration. Here's the recipe. You bring yourself, your family, and at least one person to introduce to the Carolina Peace Resource Center. You bring the food. We provide the free music and atmosphere, and have drinks and desserts available for a small charge. Sound like a deal? See below if you're able to help us host the latest breakout of peace. Calling all peacemakers! YUMMIES VOLUNTEERS Please consider volunteering one of your FUN hours to the CPRC, as you so often do! We need folks to sell our edible and wearable delights in shifts. Please let us know if you will be willing to volunteer at the tables during one of these shifts (specify if you want to sell edibles or wearables): 3-4 Plenty of people are also needed at tables bearing pamphlets and fact sheets, to talk to people about the issues the CPRC works on - and sign them up if they aren't already members. Please let us know if you can do this. For more information, contact Tim at 803.446.2772 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
