Subway Signs Agreement with CIW |

December 2, 2008: Subway, the third largest fast-food chain in the world and the biggest fast-food buyer of Florida tomatoes, reached an agreement today with the CIW to help improve wages and working conditions for the workers who pick their tomatoes!
This news comes one day before the beginning of theCIW/SFA Subway Protest Tour, scheduled to travel from Raleigh-Durham, NC, to New York City and make a final stop in Columbia, SC, before returning to Florida. The tour will continue as planned, with the exception that Subway will not be the target of any protests. Congratulations to the CIW and SFA for another job well done!
